Voice of Kolkata is the official organ of the international POETRY SOCIETY OF KOLKATA India. It is a biannual magazine of English poetry and Literary Criticism, published in the month of January – June and July – December. Contributors are requested to send poems (maximum upto 16 lines), views/reviews/articles (within 1000 words) as per our guidelines.
Voice of Kolkata started in 2000.
Biplab Majumdar is the honorary editor of the magazine.
Most of the poets who write poetry in English all over India have been published in this magazine during last two decades. Moreover, poets of Greece, Italy, USA, UK, Russia, P.R.China, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, Austria, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Yugoslavia, South Africa, Denmark, Malta, New Zealand, Pakistan, France, England, Israel, Germany, Morocco, Venezuela, Thailand, Cyprus, South America, Korea, Colombia, Serbia, Czechoslovakia, Northern Ireland, Nepal, etc countries have participated in this literary endeavour.
Till date (21.02.2017 - Last Issue) Voice of Kolkata has published 1764 poems, 27 articles, 20 bio-profiles and 80 book reviews of the poets in India and Abroad.
